Lillian “Lynn” Marie Woody of Smith Point, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Oct. 1, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. She spent her final days surrounded by loved ones and friends.
Lynn was born on June 22, 1943, in Orange, Texas, to Hollis Melford Livingston and Francis Marie Campbell.
Lynn is survived by her 3 sons: Jim and his wife Diane, Tony, and Tracy and his wife Terri. 12 grandchildren: Debra, Garrett, Jeremy, Maci, Tisha, Cassy, Logan, Heather, Erik, Britney, Justin and Bethany. 19 great-grandchildren: Kimberlyn, Avery, Peighton, Brynn, Declan, Tanner, Hayden, Kylar, Athen, Vivian, Ansley, Ava, Blane, Braylin, Hannah, Abigail, Braxten, Becca and Baylee. 3 great-great-grandchildren: Cooper, Stevie and Mazy. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her 3 brothers: Dewey, Hollis and Paul; and a grandson, Graham Woody.
Lynn lived her life the best she knew and left this earth wishing that her children and their families would find safety in this mixed-up world. She tried to live her life as naturally as possible and shared her knowledge with anyone who would listen. She had a unique perspective on life. She had a big heart and took nothing for granted. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. While our hearts mourn the loss, our family takes comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering in this world.
Lynn’s family plans on honoring her life in a private ceremony where together they will spread her ashes and gather in her memory.
