Victor Melvin Peschke Jr.

Victor Melvin Peschke Jr. passed away Nov. 4, 2024, at his home in Coldspring, Texas, at the age of 70. Victor was born Feb. 9, 1954, in Houston, Texas, to parents, Victor Melvin Peschke Sr. and Albina Marie Valusek Peschke. 

Victor graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and began his career with the Houston Fire Department in 1972. He retired from the Houston Fire Department in 2008 and was owner of his successful small business Outback Wild Animal and Pest Control for more than 25 years. Victor also served as a peace officer in Harris and Montgomery Counties for various agencies. 

Victor was outgoing, never met a stranger and loved going on vacations with his family. Working and being the best provider was his biggest passions. He never slowed down. He enjoyed meeting new people and catching up with old friends. He and Karen Barnes, the love of his life, married and began their lives together on June 21, 1985. 

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Peschke Sr., Albina Marie Peschke and grand child Phillip Peschke, He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Karen Peschke; children, Clayton Elliott Peschke and wife Kindra, Victor Peschke III and wife Kelly, Blayton Lee Peschke and wife Jaclyn, Layton Lee Peschke and wife Kim, and Kerston Aubre Mirrer and husband Steven; sister, Janice Light and husband James; grandchildren, Dylan Peschke, Kegan Peschke, Emmitt Peschke, Sawyer Peschke, Henry Peschke, Emmarie Mirrer, and Joan Peschke; nephews, James Light and Matthew Light; niece, Amanda Meyer. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, from 5-8 pm. Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 11, 2024. in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm with Pastor Randy Meeks and Jana Meeks officiating. Honors will be provided by the Houston Fire Department Honor Guard.
