Carolyn McCain Robinson, 94, of Liberty, Texas, passed away peacefully with her family and caregivers by her side on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024. She lived a full and independent life until her passing.
Carolyn was born in Prairie Lea, Texas, on July 12, 1930. Her family later moved to Luling, Texas, where she started school. Carolyn graduated from Luling High School in 1947.
Carolyn loved to be with her friends and family. Affectionately known as Charlie Brown to many. She was always on the go. You could often find her shopping for a new outfit, getting her nails done and of course at her weekly Thursday hair appointment. She enjoyed dancing and concerts, especially George Strait, Engelbert Humperdinck and Tom Jones. Carolyn was a Presbyterian by faith and served on the session governing body of the First Presbyterian Church in Liberty, Texas. In the past few years, she attended the First United Methodist Church in Liberty where she made many new friends.
Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike Clymer and Mary; son, Jim Clymer; grandchildren, Annie Alberson and husband Josh, James Clymer, Jamie Hall and Sarah Clymer. She also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Shanklin McCain and James William McCain, and sister, Marianna McCain Brown.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Liberty, Texas on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, with a service immediately following at 3 p.m. Burial will be at the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Prairie Lea, Texas on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at 3 p.m. Flowers are appreciated, or in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Liberty.
