Vicki Diane Holland, 67, of Raywood, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on Jan. 28, 1957, in Dayton, Texas, to the late Joe Arnold and Lillie Faye Peters Smith.
Vicki was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a passion for reading and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, lovingly known as her “Magnificent Seven.” Vicki also enjoyed bargain shopping, fishing, and camping, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life and the company of her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Arnold and Lillie Faye Peters Smith, and her son, Christopher Sowell.
Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Edwin Eugene Holland of Raywood, Texas; her children, Candace DeLeon and husband Charlie of Stephens City, Virginia, Keith Holland and wife Stacey of Hardin, Texas, Kevin Holland and wife Dawn of Liberty, Texas, and Kenneth Holland and wife Whitney of Raywood, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Laci, Daniel, Logan, Baleigh, McKenzie, Ethan, and Averi; her sister, Rita Frizzell; her brothers-in-law, Charles “Frog” Scott, Tony Scott, Dinky Scott and wife Annette, and Clifton Holland and wife Bernice; her cherished nieces, Donna K. Smith and Deana Troyer; her nephews, Kristopher Scott and Scott Troyer; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Pallbearers honoring Vicki will be Keith Holland, Kevin Holland, Kenneth Holland, Daniel Holland, Logan Holland, and Ethan Holland.
Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St., Dayton, Texas, 77535. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Brother Jeff Day officiating.
A graveside and committal service will take place immediately after at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty, Texas.
Vicki’s loving spirit, kind heart, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
