Dayton High School student Beatriz Moreno won the Texas FFA Junior Spanish Creed contest and is a STATE Champion for the 2024-2025 school year.
This specific contest requires memorization of the FFA Creed, the ability to recite it from memory in Spanish correctly, and be able to answer questions related to the event.
The FFA Creed has 258 words; it is made up of five paragraphs and six sentences. The FFA Creed is a statement of the values and beliefs of the organization about agriculture, citizenship, patriotism, and FFA membership. It was written in 1928 by E.M. Tiffany, and is a huge piece of FFA history.
Dayton ISD is extremely proud of Beatriz and is excited to see what is on the horizon for her!
