Cole Pemberton was born Jan. 29, 1947, in Tulsa, Okla., to parents, Cecil Pemberton and Adean Scroggins Pemberton. Cole went to Heaven to fish with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 28, 2025. Cole moved to Friendswood, Texas as a young boy. He liked cars, learned to work on them and became a good mechanic.
Cole chose to work as a Machinist for his career, and after 50 years he retired from Weatherford in Huntsville, Texas. He was the happiest when he was either saltwater fishing in Galveston or bass fishing on Lake Conroe. Cole was a sportsman who loved fishing and deer hunting. He loved all the fishing and hunting trips with his sons. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all.
Cole was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Adean Pemberton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lois Diane Pemberton; sons, Tracey Lamar Pemberton, Stacey Cole Pemberton and wife Angie; grandson, Casey Lamar Pemberton and wife Jamie, who Cole raised and loved as a son and he never left his side; grandson, C.J.; Granddaughter, Keylee; great-grandchildren, Mason, Caleb, Kenzie, Makayla, Landon, Evelyn, and Madelyn.
Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, from 8:30-9:30am. Graveside Service will be at 10am in the Squier Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be, Casey Pemberton, Dwayne Mendola, Steven Squier, Tyler Squier, Chris Squier, and Arnold Gomez.
