David Arnold Ott

David Arnold Ott was born Oct. 21, 1955, in Conroe, Texas, to parents, Talmadge Arnold Ott and Mildred Alice Dowdell Ott. He passed away in Corrigan, Texas, on March 27, 2025, at the age of 69 years.

David, in his younger years, worked in the oilfield industry and later became a logger. David loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and riding his 4 wheeler, and driving his truck. He was well known as the “Hog Man.”

David knew the forest and could tell you about any leaf or any berry off every tree. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Arnold and Mildred Alice Ott; sons, Gregory Brent Ott and David Roul Ott; daughter, Latosha Ann Ott.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Clydene Ott; Son. Ricky Wilson; daughter, Shawnee Wilson; grandchildren, Kirsty Wilson, Kimura Wilson, Darce Wilson, and Maggie Wilson; brother, Kyle Ott; nephew, Roy Ott and his children, Whitley Ott and Brantley Craven; niece, Sabrina Ott; brother in law, James McDougald and wife Beulah; sisters in law, Barrie Cox and husband Bill, Clara Young, Carol Twymann, and Cathy Keisler.

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2025, in the Montague Cemetery at 2 p.m.
