On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Cleveland Police Department responded to a burglary at Pueblo Viejo Restaurant, located at 146 Truly Plaza.
Investigators determined that an unknown male suspect had entered the business during the early morning hours and committed a burglary.
Cleveland police officers processed the scene for evidence and notified detectives of the incident. Surveillance images of the suspect were posted to social media, and shortly afterward, the department received a tip identifying the man.
Detectives positively identified the suspect as James Anthony Foley, 60, of Liberty County. Arrest warrants for Burglary of a Building and Theft—both State Jail Felonies—were issued for Mr. Foley.
Cleveland Police Department notified the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, as Foley resided in their jurisdiction. On Tuesday, June 3, Foley was arrested by the Liberty County SO and transported to the Cleveland Police Department, where he was booked into jail without incident.
“This case was solved with the help of our citizens, local businesses, and our law enforcement partners,” said Capt. Scott Felts of the Cleveland Police Department. “We appreciate the partnerships we’ve built over the years; they make fighting crime much more effective,” said Capt. Scott Felts, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police Department.
