Jodie was born on April 19, 1951, in Baytown, Texas, Jodie was the beloved son of the late Jodie Elliott McCullough Sr. and Ella Lee (Mike) McCullough.

A proud graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School, Jodie carried the values of strength, loyalty, and self-respect with him throughout every chapter of his life. His career began with honorable service in the United States Army, where he embodied discipline and duty. After his military service, Jodie dedicated many years of hard work to the City of Baytown, helping serve the very community he was raised in. Later in life, he found joy and freedom on the highways as a professional truck driver, a role he enjoyed deeply until his retirement.

Known to most as “Super Spook,” Jodie lived life unapologetically and with passion. His greatest love was the open road—he had a motorcycle under him nearly his entire life, and he was never more at peace than when riding. That lifelong passion led him to become President of the Silverback Soldierz Motorcycle Club – Beach City Chapter, where he earned the respect, loyalty, and brotherhood of a devoted riding family.

Jodie also had a deep love for shooting pool, socializing over a drink at his favorite bars, driving powerful, souped-up vehicles, and being on the dance floor—moving with the same confidence and rhythm that defined him in every area of life. He lived boldly, laughed easily, and always had a magnetic charm that drew people in—especially the ladies. Jodie made no apologies for who he was, and that authenticity was part of what made him unforgettable.

Jodie was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie Sr. and Ella Lee, his beloved sisters, Pair Lee and Josie, and his longtime partner, Cynthia Difuro, with whom he shared many cherished years.

He is survived by his devoted children: James Ray (Virginia), Quincylla Holmes, Elliott Means (Angela), Maya Jackson (Courtney), Dr. Lachele McCullough, Jodi White (Brandon), Joni Powell (Shannon), Jodie McCullough III (Jennifer), Jovan McCullough (Soraya), Jermaine Powell (Honey), Seraya McCullough (Joshua), and Christian Tanton.

He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his loving family, extended family, his Silverback Soldierz MC family, his Cedar Bayou community family, his loyal dog Tyson, fellow brothers, and countless friends who were part of his wide circle.

The family invites you to raise a glass, ride a mile, shoot a game of pool, or share a story in his honor.

Jodie lived fast, loved hard, and left behind a legacy as unforgettable as his nickname.

🕊️ Ride in peace, Super Spook. The road won’t be the same without you. 🕊️
