We gather here today to remember and honor the brief yet profoundly impactful life of Dakota Lee Flaskamp, who was born on June 28, 2025, in Kingwood, Texas. His time with us, though far too short, was filled with the kind of joy and innocence that only a child like Dakota could bring. God tires of calling the aged to His foe, so picks a little rosebud before it has time to grow. Though we may not understand, its all in God’s master plan.

Dakota passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, in Houston, Texas, leaving behind a fond memory that will linger in the hearts of his family and friends forever. In the fleeting weeks of his young life, Dakota touched the hearts of many with his vibrant spirit, filling the air with an undeniable light.

He is survived by his loving parents, Terrence Flaskamp and Madisyn Tobias, who welcomed him into their lives with open arms and a deep reservoir of love. His older brother, Terrence Flaskamp II, shares in the profound sadness of losing his little brother, while sister Katherine Tobias holds onto precious memories that will forever be cherished.

Though Dakota’s time on Earth was but a whisper in the wind, his presence will echo in the hearts of his family. They find solace in the moments shared, serving as tender reminders of the love that exists within their family. The void left by his departure is a heart-wrenching reminder of how much he is loved.

As we reflect on Dakota’s brief journey, we celebrate the beauty of the love and connection he fostered during his time. It is our collective wish to honor his spirit, rejoicing in the memories carved by this sweet soul who graced our lives, if only for a moment. Dakota Lee Flaskamp may have departed from this world, but his light will forever shine brightly in those who knew and loved him.
