Lavora June Moehle

Lavora June Moehle was born in Memphis, Tenn., on July 9, 1951, to parents, Rayford Presley Owens and Dorothy May Hoy Owens. She entered Heaven’s Gates, surrounded by her loving family, on Aug. 25, 2025, at the age of 74 years.

June came from a large and loving family, and she enjoyed the time she had raising her son and providing a loving home for husband, Howard. June loved her family, and she will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her and loved her.

June is preceded in death by her parents, Rayford Presley and Dorothy May Owens; sister, Ellen Lumpkin; nephews, Michael Lumpkin, Alfred Moehle, Shannon Bryant, Kenneth Owens, Jr and Jessie Owens; brothers-in-law, Robert D. Moehle, James Milton Moehle, and Jim Moehle; sister-in-law, Irma Moehle; and stepsister, Betty Lumpkin.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Howard Moehle; beloved son, Robert Moehle; beloved brothers, Kenneth Owens and Matt Lumpkin; beloved sister, Kathy Ruprecht; stepsister, Diana Kaher; nephews, Chad Moehle, Gary Johnson Jr., Keith Johnson, Travis Bryant, Scott Johnson, David Moehle, Steven Moehle, JR Moehle, and Raymond Owens; nieces, Jessica Ford, Ashley Lumpkin, Sandy Lumpkin, and Bobby Jo Owens; along with many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Gathering June will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Coldspring Community Center located at 101 E Cedar Ave in Coldspring, Texas 77331. There will be a pot luck dinner held after the service so please bring a dish.
