Ronald Gene Riggs

Ronald Gene Riggs, 75, of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Nov. 3, 2025.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Dec. 8, 1949, to N.J. and Naomi A. Riggs, he graduated from Liberty High School in 1967.

Ronnie worked in the oil field industry for over 40 years and loved to travel. He was not a shy person by any means, as he always seemed to be the life of the party.

Over the years, Ronnie enjoyed stamp collecting, rock tumbling, cooking, and had an enduring love for reading. He was preceded in death by his father, N.J. Riggs, and his mother, Naomi A. Riggs.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Lilia Riggs, sons Christopher L. Riggs and Dustin S. Riggs, stepdaughter Blanca Mondragon, stepsons Tony Vidal and Carlos Vidal, and his cherished granddaughter Maya A. Riggs. Ronnie will be remembered for his love of all things that brought joy to others. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at Allison Funeral Home, Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m.
