Kenna Lee Griffin, born Aug. 15, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to James and Christene Griffin, passed away on April 11, 2026.
Kenna was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a way of making others feel seen and valued. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and love to her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her devoted parents, James and Christene Griffin; her siblings, James Griffin and his wife Amy, Rachel Tagert and her husband Ian, and Venus Gilchriest and her husband Cody. Kenna also leaves behind her cherished nephews—Ethan Tagert, Lucas Tagert, Vance Griffin, Lane Gilchriest, and Cash Gilchriest—and her beloved nieces—Abbie Tagert, Faith Allsbrooks, Avery Allsbrooks, Nevaeh Hobbs, and Mia Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shelly Griffin; her grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Blue; and Calvin and Eva Griffin.
Kenna’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will continue to carry her love with them always.
