James Brauner Whisenant III was born in Houston, Texas, to parents, Thomas Walter Whisenant and Marilyn Rose Daricek Whisenant. He passed away in Crockett, Texas, on April 13, 2026, at the age of 47.
James was an installation technician in the security and fire industry. He enjoyed his life, and he loved his family and friends. James was always willing to help anyone in need and these characteristics were passed down to his children.
His life on earth was short, but he lived life to the fullest. James will be deeply missed by everyone that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wayne and Marilyn Rose Whisenant, brother in law Charlie Biano, and brother Nick Holman.
James is survived by his partner, Jennifer Hill; mothers of his children, Brandy Whisenant and her mother Ramona Taylor, and Monica Padgett; children, Kaylin Allen, Cheyenne Whisenant, Abby Whisenant, Zane Whisenant, and Charlotte Whisenant; sisters, Angal Biano, Tommilyn Kanouff and husband John, Kathy Whisenant, and Marilyn “Crissi” Grimm and husband Joe; brothers, AJ Kiser and Scottie “Love” Hackett; granddaughter, Autumn Rose Whisenant; brother in law, Wesley Wood and Niece, Danielle Wood; sister in law, Holly Wood; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel from 2-3 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rocky Hoch officiating.
