Robert Lynn Harrell, 58, of Hankamer, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his residence.
Robert was born November 10, 1967, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to parents; Lansing and Jamie McKay Harrel, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Hankamer for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Deer Park High School, attended San Jacinto Community College, and was a welder by trade. Brother Harrell was a member of Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192, Scottish Rite, and Shrine. Robert also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Mr. Harrell was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Kathy McKey Harrell, stepson: Lonnie Moon, sister: Kela Henry and husband Allen, grandchildren: Tyce Moon, Leyton Moon, and Madison Moon, nieces and nephews: Allen ‘Gippi’ Henry, Jamie Overbey, Mary Sue Henry, and Terry Lynn Henry, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., with funeral services at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel in Anahuac. Graveside services will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, at the Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin.
