Dayton drug raid results in five arrests

Investigators with the Liberty County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office on Monday, May 18, executed two narcotics search warrants at apartments located in the 700 block of East Waring Street in Dayton.

Pct. 4 investigators prepared sworn probable cause affidavits in support of the search warrants, which were issued by 253rd Judicial District Judge Chap Cain.

The Pct. 4 Constable’s Office was assisted during the operation by officers with the Dayton Police Department and deputies from Liberty County Constable Precincts 3, 5 and 6.

During searches of the apartments, investigators seized suspected marijuana, suspected THC Delta 9 vape cartridges and digital scales.

Five individuals were arrested during the investigation and transported to the Liberty County Jail. Those arrested and their charges are as follows:

Michael George Flagg was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, 1 gram or less, a state jail felony.

Daron Michael Flagg was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, 4 grams to 400 grams, a second-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces, a Class B misdemeanor.

Eric Dewayne Horn Sr. was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, 1 gram to 4 grams, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces, a Class B misdemeanor.

Eric Dewayne Horn Jr. was charged with possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces, a Class B misdemeanor.

Coleon Londell Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, 1 gram or less, a state jail felony.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
