Sarah Cortney Burton passed away on May 16, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will carry her memory forever in their hearts.
Sarah was the kind of person who loved with her whole heart. She was a faithful and devoted wife to Chet, a loving mother to her girls, and in later years, a proud and adoring GiGi whose grandchildren became the light of her life. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her babies, laughing, playing, and making memories they will treasure forever.
Sarah found happiness in the simple things that made life beautiful. She absolutely loved Halloween and everything about fall — pumpkins, changing leaves, chilly weather, and all the cozy moments the season brought. She loved painting nails with her daughters, making memories filled with laughter and love that they will forever hold close.
She also loved adventure and the outdoors. Some of her happiest times were spent in Arkansas with Chet searching for crystals, riding her four-wheeler, looking for rocks, and simply being surrounded by nature. Sarah had a free spirit and a deep appreciation for the beauty God placed in the world around her.
More than anything, Sarah loved her family fiercely. She always pushed the people she loved to be the very best they could be and stood by them with unwavering loyalty and strength. Her love was constant, comforting, and true.
Sarah is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Chet LaKeith Burton; her beloved daughters, Lakamree Summer Burton and Fayth Kaylinn Burton; her father, Clifton Belz; her grandparents, Danny and Gloria Belz, and Billy Loone and Sarah Louise Brown; her treasured grandchildren, Eastynn Kash Burton, Rhyker Ridge George, Holsynn Rayne Burton, and Rustyn Keith George; and her sister, Mysti Summer Clark.
Sarah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her family’s hearts are broken, they find comfort in the beautiful memories she gave them and the love she leaves behind that will never fade.
