
Crystale Dawne Simons, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on June 15, 2026, in Kingwood, Texas. Born on Nov. 4, 1948, in Houston, Texas, Crystale’s journey spanned decades filled with love, resilience, and an enduring spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of many, yet her legacy is vibrantly alive through the lives she so deeply influenced. Crystale was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie Simons, whose companionship and partnership enriched her life’s story; her devoted parents, Vernon William Felder and Dorothy Mae Hutchinson; and her siblings, Casyle Moody and Ronald Felder, Sr., who shared parts of her early journey.
Crystale’s surviving family stands as a testament to her nurturing nature and the profound love she lavished on those closest to her. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Cindy Carr and husband Randy, Sonia Langham and husband Jeff, Crystale Bonjour and husband Jason, and Lisa Simons.
To them, she was a guiding light, a source of unwavering support and boundless affection. Her grandchildren, Cortney Weber and husband Phillip Weber, Jacob Cargle and wife Haley, Jessica Scarborough and husband Eric, Brett Bonjour, Trevin Simons, Sean Bonjour, Emma Langham, Jefferson Langham, Randa Carr, Michael Thomason, Wesley Thomason, Lacey Langham and partner Matthew, Lindsey Stutts and husband Tyler, and JJ Langham carry forward her values and kindness, embodying the warmth and care she so readily offered.
The joy she found in her role as great-grandmother was immeasurable, sharing sweet moments with Ella, Ethan, Demi, Callie, Lorena, Cameron, Cora, Jared, Jade, Rylan, and Hadlie. Crystale’s brother, Stoney Felder, remains a close living connection to her origins, a bond strengthened through shared memories and enduring affection. Surrounding her family mantle were also numerous other loving family members and treasured friends who embraced her generosity and spirit.
To honor Crystale’s remarkable life, visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 12 to 2 p.m., at Neal Funeral Home, at 200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, Texas. This will be followed by her funeral service from 2 p.m., where family and friends will gather to celebrate and reflect upon her rich and meaningful life. Interment will immediately follow at Splendora City Cemetery located in Splendora, Texas.
