Two children under the age of 5 died Tuesday morning, Aug. 11, in a fire that destroyed the RV where they were living on County Road 3819 in the Cleveland area.
According to Cleveland Fire Chief Sean Anderson, family members were on the property when the fire broke out, but were unable to get to them. The fire completely destroyed the RV.
The bodies of the two young victims have been taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies.
Cleveland Fire Department responded to the scene along with the East Montgomery County Fire Department, Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department, Plum Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Allegiance EMS, Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty County Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Cleveland Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire with assistance from fire marshals.
No cause had been determined as of Tuesday morning. Bluebonnet News will provide additional information as it becomes available.

Yes pray for the parents who left their two toddlers alone in an RV at 5 o’clock in the morning. Then stood and watched it burn knowing their 2 babies were inside burning too!! POS pathetic excuse for parents!
