Robert Charles Davis, 46, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Aug. 13, 2026.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at Proctor’s Mortuary, 3522 Washington Blvd. in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.

Robert Charles Davis, affectionately known as “Rockin Rob,” was born June 30, 1980, in Beaumont, Texas. Robert accepted Jesus into his life at Northside Church of Christ in Beaumont at the age of 10 under Pastor Roberts. A proud Jaguar of Central Senior High School, Robert lived his life with a vibrant spirit, warmth and an unmatched love for connecting with those around him.

Robert possessed a genuinely outgoing personality and a welcoming heart. He truly never met a stranger and loved talking with everyone he crossed paths with. He expressed his creativity and energy through fashion, music, dancing and rapping.

The outdoors was one of his favorite places to be. Whether he was enjoying quiet walks, spending time in local parks, listening to rap music with his big brother, playing thumb war with his big sister or swimming at the beach with his family, Robert enjoyed life.

His faith was a steady comfort in his life, and he deeply cherished listening to his audio Bible. Of all the seasons and celebrations, Christmas was his absolute favorite holiday, bringing him increased joy every year.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandfather, Percy Davis Sr.; grandmothers, Mollie Davis and Josie Francis; aunts, Beverly Farris and Joyce Davis; and uncles, Riley Francis, George Davis Sr. and Dino Sarten.

His memory will be forever cherished by his loving parents, Arlene Francis Davis and Lucious C. Davis; brother, Torrey B. Francis and wife Rita; sisters, Tammie Davis and Nicky Davis Pete and husband Christopher; nephews, Joshua, Torrey Jr., Kendall, Larry III and Tyler; niece, Taylor; six great-nieces; four great-nephews; uncles, Percy Davis Jr., Peter Davis, John Francis, Keith Francis Sr. and Gary Francis; aunts, Lorraine Sarten, Marilyn McKinney and Harlene Davis; best friend, Marcus Butler; and a loving host of cousins and friends.

Special thanks are extended to the Young family, the Gilmore/Pete family, the Jackson family, C&C Catering, the Doucette family, Charlton Pollard Class of 1970, Motiva Enterprises and Jason’s Deli.
