Timothy Dem Curry was born in Baytown, Texas, to parents, James Blaine Curry and Sylvia Mae Nelson Curry. He entered Heavens Gates on Aug. 20, 2026 at the age of 80.
Timothy proudly served our country in the US Army and was a plumber most of his life. He loved being in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, tractors, and rodeo, which he did for over 18 years being a steer dogger and bull rider.
His greatest love was for his family and the many traditions he passed down to them over the years. Timothy will always be loved and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blaine and Sylvia Curry; in-laws, Bill and Flora Jean Ford; beloved sons, Adam Curry and Justin Pimentel; brother-in-laws, James Curry, Bobby Bennett, and David Terrell; sister-in-law, Valarie Lynn Wall.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Susan Curry; beloved sons, Shane Curry, Shawn Curry and wife Cristy, Trent Curry and wife Sarah, David “Chubby” Curry and wife Alicia; beloved daughter, Jennifer Scarbrough; beloved brother, Corky Curry and wife Kathy; beloved sister, Cathy Lee; sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Bennett and Beverly Joe Terrell; beloved grandchildren; Heather Curry, Hunter Curry and Emery, Bailey McDonald and Hunter, Kyleigh Curry, Khloe Curry, Valaree Provazek and Wesley, Denton Curry and Shaana, Partner Curry, Gracelynn Curry, Braelan Curry, Kynlee Curry, Karlie Curry, Kade Curry, Kole Curry, Rob Curry, Dottie Curry, Sallie Curry, Mollie Curry, Luna Jensan, and Lacey Pimentel; great-grandchildren, Tate Davenport, Shepherd Curry, Cooper Curry, and Ezra Provazek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Pace Stancil Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026. from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with Bro. James Langston and Pastor Jimmie Charles officiating. Burial will follow in the Ryan Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Army. Pallbearers for the service will be, Gary Faircloth, Hunter Curry, Denton Curry, Bradley Hopkins, Partner Curry, and Braelan Curry.
