David Allen Friend, 61, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Sept. 18, 2026. He was born on Nov. 26, 1964, in Galena Park, Texas, to Kenneth David Friend and Yolanda “Yogi” Friend.
David was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth David Friend, and his brother, Vance Friend. David was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his mother, Yolanda “Yogi” Friend; his sons, David and Michael; his five grandchildren; his brothers Kenneth “Kenny” and Chris Friend.
Those who knew David best will remember his love of drawing, spending as much time as possible outdoors, and his passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He enjoyed being outdoors and doing the things that brought him happiness. David will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
