The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Liberty County man on five felony warrants following an investigation into the possession and promotion of child pornography.
The investigation began after Liberty County Sheriff’s Office investigators received information through the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force regarding multiple cybertip reports linked to the same user account. The reports indicated that images and videos depicting a child under the age of 18 engaged in sexually explicit conduct had been uploaded through an online messaging platform.
Using information obtained through the cybertip investigation and other investigative techniques, investigators identified a Liberty County residence associated with the activity and identified the suspect as Jack Edward Littlejohn, 44.
Investigators subsequently obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence, seizing multiple electronic devices capable of storing digital images and videos.
A forensic examination of the devices revealed child sexual abuse material, including content depicting the sexual assault of children and children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Based on evidence obtained during the investigation, investigators secured five warrants charging Littlejohn with Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography Depicting Sexual Assault of a Child, a first-degree felony.
Littlejohn was arrested Oct. 4, 2026, and booked into the Liberty County Jail.
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office said it remains committed to protecting children and aggressively pursuing individuals who exploit them through the production, possession, distribution or promotion of child sexual abuse material.
