The Liberty County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office concluded a narcotics investigation Tuesday, Oct. 6, with the arrest of a Liberty man accused of selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer.
Floyd Eugene Baker, 50, of Liberty, was taken into custody on a felony warrant charging him with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams, a first-degree felony.
According to the Pct. 4 Constable’s Office, investigators began looking into Baker after receiving information that he allegedly was selling methamphetamine.

Investigators launched a covert operation that reportedly led to Baker meeting with and selling methamphetamine to an undercover peace officer.
Following the alleged transaction, investigators prepared a probable cause affidavit that was presented to Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Larry Wilburn. Wilburn subsequently issued the felony arrest warrant.
Baker was arrested without incident at a residence in the 500 block of CR 193 in Raywood and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
