Esmeralda Escobar was born April 10, 1986, in Houston, Texas to parents, Pantaleon Rocha and Guadalupe Oregon Rocha. She passed away in Humble, Texas, on Nov. 5, 2026, at the age of 40.
She worked as an office secretary and the greatest love in her life was for her children. Family meant everything to her, and she adored her parents, brothers, sisters and most of all her kids. Esmeralda will be greatly missed by them and everyone that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jose Luz.
Esmeralda is survived by her parents, Pantaleon and Guadalup Rocha; children, Persefeni Angeles, Ivette Escobar, and Alan Escobar; brothers, Jose Moreno, Amir Oregon, Juan Moreno, and Edjn Rocha; sisters, Alma Lozano, Gloria Gutierrez, and Maria Ireta; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Chapel from 5-9 p.m. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Mass will be Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Alan Escobar, Juan Moreno, Antonio Diaz, Jose Moreno, Amir Oregon and Adrian Moreno.
