Allene “Honey” Thomas

Allene “Honey” Thomas, age 85 of Kingwood, Texas, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018. She was born May 20, 1933 in New Caney, Texas to parents Oscar Turner and Olia Sallas Turner who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harry Thomas; daughter, Harriet Marie O’Meara; and brother, Arthur “Otto” Turner.

Allene loved going to church and reading her Bible. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed singing.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Hall; sons, Eddie Thomas and wife Delinda, and Bobby Thomas and wife Dee; daughter, Cindy Lou Truett and husband Walter; grandchildren, Kassie Leach, Katie Thomas, Cade Thomas, Charlene Germond and husband Daniel, Tressie Truett, Keith Truett, Julie Adams, and Chance Sampsel; great-grandchildren, Krystal, Kourtney, Jaxon, and Addie; great-great-grandchildren, Payton, Makayla, and Kali; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at First Baptist Church New Caney, New Caney, Texas. Interment will follow at Enloe Cemetery, Porter, Texas.
