At a traffic stop Tuesday on US 59 at FM 1314 in East Montgomery County, deputies with the Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office and K-9 Officer Hash reportedly discovered 26.45 pounds of cocaine-fentanyl located inside a hidden compartment of a vehicle.
Two men – Evaristo Mercado and Huber Hyala – were arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
