Every year, Dayton ISD adds new names to its Wall of Fame, which recognizes the contributions of District administrators, teachers, counselors, librarians and nurses. Nominations are currently being sought for this year’s Wall of Fame and will be accepted until Feb. 3 at the Dayton ISD Administration Building, 100 Cherry Creek Road, Dayton.
In order to qualify for the Wall of Fame, nominees must be retired for five years or have not been employed in the District for five years prior to their induction. They must also have a minimum of five years of service to Dayton ISD and must demonstrate qualities that reflect character, leadership and service.
The nomination deadline every year is Feb. 1 but because that day falls on a Saturday, the deadline is being extended to Monday, Feb. 3.
One recipient will be chosen by the selection committee this year. Nomination forms are available at all campus offices, the administration building or online at http://www.daytonisd.net. You may also call 936-258-2667 or send mail to Dayton ISD, Wall of Fame, P.O. Box 248, Dayton, Texas.
