Ronald Frank Tymel, Sr.

Ronald Frank Tymel, Sr., age 83, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2024. He was born on January 9, 1941, in Houston, Texas, to parents Frank Tymel, Sr. and Lucille Voekel Tymel who both preceded him in death. Ronald was also predeceased by his wife, Betty Lou Tymel, and their sons, Ronald Frank Tymel, Jr (affectionately known as Bubba) and Ricky Lynn Tymel.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughters, Ronda Tymel-Brice and Renda Meier, his grandchildren Jennifer, Elizabeth, John Michael, Alexa, Matthew, Luke, Sammie, Savannah and Ricky, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Ronald led a fulfilling life as a devoted husband, father and Paw Paw. He will always be cherished for his heartfelt storytelling. Ronald dedicated 25 years of service to the Houston Fire Department before retiring. In his leisure time he found great joy in hunting and fishing.

Visitation for Ronald will be held on Thursday, February 1st from 1pm-2pm at the Pace-Stancil Chapel. His funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm with Bro. Glen Mead officiating. Burial will take place in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Skip Meier, John Michael Brice Jr., and Andrew Dunsworth.
