With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Michael Armstrong, 31, of Dayton, Texas, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at his home. He was born on June 15, 1992, in Baytown, Texas, the beloved son of Michael Douglas and Kimberley Denise Thomas Armstrong. Kevin brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Kevin’s journey was marked by dedication and hard work. A graduate of Liberty High School, the Class of 2010, in Liberty, Texas, he spent over a decade as a machine operator at Harris Rebar in Dayton, Texas. His commitment to his craft was unwavering, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Outside of work, Kevin found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the movies, but his true passion lay in spending quality time with his loved ones. Whether sharing laughs over TikTok videos or savoring meals at Iguana Joe’s with his beloved mother, Kevin cherished every moment spent with family.
Kevin had a heart of gold and a gentle spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a doting uncle, adored by his nieces and nephews, Shealynn, Shyla, Berret, Marlie, Jaxon, and Emerie, who brought him immeasurable joy.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Debbie Burch, and great-grandmother, Roberta Ainsworth. Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his devoted mother, Kimberly Armstrong; father, Michael Armstrong, and wife, Angela; sisters, Jessica Armstrong and husband Deven, Tiffany Malone and husband Marcus; as well as his grandfather, Doug Armstrong; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In accordance with Kevin’s wishes, he will be cremated and remembered as the loving, funny, and quiet person that he was. Though he may be physically absent, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. May we find comfort in the memories we shared and solace in knowing that Kevin’s legacy of love will endure for generations to come.
