Dana Lynn Pennington was born July 17, 1971, in El Paso, Texas, to parents, Wayne Pennington and Charlotte Tatum Pennington. She passed away June 5, 2024, in Cleveland, Texas, after her courageous battle with cancer. Dana graduated with her BS Degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rogue, Louisiana.
She was a soldier in the Louisiana Army National Guard’s 415th Military Intelligence Battalion as a German linguist and counterintelligence agent.
Dana worked for the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources for 15 years as a permitting specialist in wetlands mitigation. She married James Falgoust on July 16, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Baku, Azerbaijan. She was a competitive horsewoman and rescued and raised horses, cats and dogs.
Dana is survived by her husband, James Falgoust; parents, Charlotte Bonnabel and Alfred Eugene Bonnabel III; brother, Alfred Eugene Bonnabel IV; sisters, Jessica Cazer and Lena.
