Juan Romero Vega, a beloved member of the Liberty community for the past 11 years, and previously of Denver, Colorado, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas. Juan was born on February 16, 2006, in Denver, Colorado.
Juan was a diligent student and proudly graduated from Liberty High School as part of the Class of 2024. His commitment to education was admirable and reflected in all aspects of his life.
Juan’s memory will be honored through a series of services. A visitation will be held at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Liberty on Thursday, June 20, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Liberty Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving parents Jesus Romero and Maria Vega Romero. Juan will be dearly missed by his grandparents Jose Luz Romero, Josephina Serna Aguillar, Alfredo Vega, and Ma Guadalupe Padron. He also leaves behind his brothers Gustavo Romero, Brian Romero, and Victor Romero. In addition to his immediate family, Juan is mourned by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by his kindness and warm spirit.
Juan Romero Vega’s life was one filled with joyous moments shared with those he held dear. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. Rest in peace.
