The seniors of Liberty County enjoyed a day filled with exploration and camaraderie during a recent excursion organized by the Dayton Senior Center, Inc. The day began with a bus trip to the Museum of Natural Science in Houston, where attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of exhibits.
The butterfly exhibit captivated the group. Everyone had the opportunity to view so many things from fossils to gem stones. Many enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit.
Following the museum visit, the group enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Golden Corral. This meal provided a chance for the seniors to relax and share their experiences from the morning’s activities.
The outing was made possible by the dedication of the Dayton Senior Center, Inc., which is committed to providing meals and enrichment activities for seniors in the community. Volunteers played a crucial role in the success of the program, and their efforts ensured that the seniors had an enjoyable and enriching experience.
The Dayton Senior Center, Inc. hopes to organize more such outings in the future.
