Bolds, Yeo crowned Hardin High School homecoming king, queen

Emma Bolds is the 2024 Hardin High School Homecoming Queen. Julius Yeo is the Homecoming King. They were crowned during halftime at the Hardin Hornets football game on Friday, Sept. 13.

Hardin High School celebrated its homecoming on Friday, Sept. 13, by crowning this year’s king and queen during halftime of the Hardin Hornets varsity football game.

Julius Yeo and Emma Bolds were honored with the titles, each representing the spirit and dedication of Hardin students.

Julius Yeo, son of Julie Flores, has been a student at Hardin since pre-K. Known for his leadership and involvement, Julius is a proud officer of the Student Council. Looking ahead to life after high school, he plans to pursue a degree in Business and Photography, alongside earning a Cosmetology certification. His ultimate goal is to own both a salon and a photography business.

Emma Bolds, daughter of Carl Jr. and Rebecca Bolds, has been a part of the Hardin school community since kindergarten. She is a shining example of the school’s motto of “building a better Hardin, one student at a time.”

Emma’s list of accomplishments includes serving as Drum Major for the Hardin Band, and being an active member of the C.R.O.S.S. club, Chess club, dual credit program, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She also sings in the choir and serves as the youth Sunday School secretary at her church. After graduation, Emma plans to attend Texas State University to major in Criminal Justice.
