Liberty County Pct. 4 Deputy Constable Robert Adams recovered a stolen trailer while patrolling the area around FM 1413 on Monday night, Oct. 7. The discovery was made about half a mile from the Grand Parkway (SH 99) after Adams turned off onto a secluded dirt road and came across a trailer hidden deep in the woods.
Adams immediately found the trailer’s location suspicious, as it seemed out of place in such an isolated area. Upon closer inspection, he noticed that the trailer’s hitch and lighting had been cut off at the battery box, raising more red flags.
Determining the trailer’s identification proved challenging. One of the VIN numbers had been scratched off, but after some time and effort, Adams was able to identify it through the remaining number sequences. The trailer was confirmed as a lowboy dovetail trailer reported stolen out of Louisiana.

“It was still in pretty good shape,” Adams said, though there are no suspects for the theft at this time.
The trailer was removed from the property by JTT Towing and will eventually be returned to its rightful owner. The trailer was reported stolen on Sept. 29, 2024. The investigation is ongoing.

It doesn’t matter, they will do nothing about it. I had one stolen and knew who took it and Liberty County did nothing. I hate a thief.
I wonder if it was a Mexican or a Mexican that stole it
High probability that is was. It’s what they do best…
