Emma Jean Moore, 83, of Beaumont, Texas, passed May 28, 2025.
Services are Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Proctor’s Mortuary, 3522 Washington Blvd., Beaumont, Texas. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until funeral at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Emma Jean Moore was born April 2, 1942, in Beaumont, Texas, to Mae Dell Richards and John Myers.
Jean was Christen at an early age at Our Mother of Mercy Church. She attended Hebert High School. Some of her hobbies were cooking and sewing. Her read of choice was the Bible. She loved spending time with her family, during whatever. Jean worked at Mash Hospital and Wieners Department Store.
Jean was preceded in death by her mother Mae Dell Richards, fathers Preston Richards and John Myers, sisters Jeanette Mayfield, Joann Thompson, brothers Anthony Richards, Micheal Richards and Preston Richards.
Jean memories will be cherished by her sons John Moore (Dandria) of Malakoff, Texas, Richard Moore (Alice); daughters, Tony Mitchell (Robert), Miracle Culbert (JaCoby), and Gustavfia Moore all of Beaumont, Texas; host of grand-kids, great grand-kids and great great grand-kid and her #1 Xavier Brooks. Her brother: Joseph Charles Richards Sr.; sisters: Wilma Gregory, Mary Anderson, and Florence Jordan nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
