Lisa Marie Henderson England

It is with deep sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Lisa Marie Henderson England, who left this world on June 22, 2025, in Liberty, Texas, at the age of 63.

Lisa was born on Sept. 24, 1961, in Augusta, Ga., to the late John E. Henderson and Virginia Wagnon Henderson. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose love touched countless lives.

She is survived by her brother David Henderson and Partner Matthew of Nashua, New Hampshire and sister Lynda Deville of Port Arthur; her daughter Angela Pitre and husband Noah of Liberty, Texas; and her son Brian England of Springfield, Arkansas. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Billy Smith Jr. (wife Bethanie), Paige Dyess (husband Trey), Shane Strawn (wife Dilan), Alexis Laird, and Destinee Fleetwood (husband Jacobe), and was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Lisa also leaves behind numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones across the South.

For Lisa, her greatest legacy was her family. She poured her heart into raising her children, loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and building a life centered on faith and compassion. A faithful member of Hardin Baptist Church, she was deeply involved in the Children’s Ministry, led Bible studies, and was always among the first to volunteer and give back.

Lisa will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, heartfelt kindness, steady faith, and a love for a good mystery novel. She lived with warmth, wisdom, and a welcoming heart, never quick to judge, always quick to embrace. She gave generously, loved deeply, and walked faithfully with God.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Hardin Baptist Church, where family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful life, she lived.

As her family lovingly says:

“Of all the things she was, mine was my favorite.”
