Cleveland chamber luncheon to celebrate America’s 250th birthday

The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce will celebrate 250 years of the United States during its monthly networking luncheon on Thursday, July 2, at the Cleveland Civic Center, 210 Peach Ave.

The patriotic-themed luncheon will feature guest speaker Major Ernest Derick Mendoza, who served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps and received several service awards.

Mendoza is currently a partner with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, and serves on the board of the Cleveland ISD Education Foundation, among many other community organizations.

Guests are encouraged to wear red, white and blue in honor of the occasion.

Doors will open at 11 a.m., with lunch served at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at noon. Catering will be provided by The Crossing Coffee Shop of Cleveland.

Cost is $17 for chamber members who RSVP by July 1. The cost for non-members and walk-ins is $22.
