Margaret “Annie” Ann Lamb, 86, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026. Annie was born on June 8, 1940, in Paragould, Arkansas, to William N. Lamb and Oleta Walker Lamb. She was a woman of the Baptist faith and found comfort in watching church services and living a simple, faith-filled life.
Annie cherished the time she spent with her beloved nephew, David, who brought great joy and companionship to her life. She enjoyed watching television, relaxing with her favorite Blue Bell ice cream, and spending time with the animals she loved so dearly. She had a special affection for cats, especially Sweetie and Lucy, and delighted in watching the dogs, Mercy and Grace, play in the yard.
For the past six years, Annie made her home in Conroe, Texas, after many years as a resident of Paragould, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William N. Lamb and Oleta Walker Lamb, and by her beloved twin sister, Martha Westbrook.
Annie leaves behind her devoted nephew, David, and his wife, Denise, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service to celebrate Annie’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.
Annie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, her faithful heart, and the simple joys that brought happiness to her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
